• So lately my life has been completely boring in a crazy chaotic sort of way. If that even makes any sense. I got my college application in to Franciscan University of Steubenville. Load off my back. I think I kind of procrastinated for a really long time though because I was so nervous.

   

  Last Saturday night we had some friends over for a “Movie Night” it was a blast. We watched some pretty funny movies including, one of my favorites, “Mr. Deeds.” [Uncle Don you might like that one. haha] We had soooooo much junk food! It was amazing! haha Of course, I went on an all vegetable fast the next day, I thought I owed it to myself. [Just kidding, although I did have yogurt instead of a giant ice cream Sunday...]

   

  Backing up a few weeks I went down to NJ again. I got to go to John’s mom’s fundraising banquet for her Crisis Pregnancy Center. Excellent time. Very well done although I must say, getting to be behind the scenes during the “day of” things were pretty chaotic and stressful. I got the honor of helping write out nearly 250 place setting cards by hand because we couldn’t figure out how to get it to work on the computer. Yikes.

   

  The best part of that trip however, [and ironically also the worst] was being able to see my best friend [aka: “brother”] Mike again. I’ve only gotten to see him twice since he moved to Philadelphia nearly a year ago. I miss him so much. Anyway, he and his wonderful girlfriend drove up and the four of us hung out all day and did the most random stupid things that of course were amazing just because we were doing them together.

   

  And we traumatized John by going into scary stores at the mall. hehe We shared sodas and got iced coffee from McDonalds [Caffeine! lol] We sprayed each other with silly string and waited for John to order “seconds” at breakfast while Mike and I fought over who could drink more of his girlfriend Liz’s milk shake. [Poor girl. hehe]

   

  Liz is really great though. I love her to death. I’m so glad Mike found her. And I can’t wait to be her sister-in-law.

   

  Quick update on the family since I’m sure you’re all dying to know....

   

  Fall is here! [Though winter is quickly approaching. What is all this forecast of SNOW? It’s OCTOVER people!!! Hello!] We will be officially done with our first semester of school Friday! Whew! Time flies.

   

  We’ve been apple picking and pumpkin picking already. I for one am glad to be doing my share of fall baking. I think the kitchen is the only warm room of the house these days! Lol!

   

  My job this year is to put together a family year book. Maybe you all will be able to see a sneak pre-view at Christmas.

   

  Other than that things have been just cool....literally.

   

  I wish God would remember to turn the heat back up every morning before he goes to work.
